We staff at health centres have sadly become used to abuse from 'clients'. This takes the form of verbal abuse for example when asking for an ID card, physical violence for the most varied of reasons (I was once shot at), our cars vandalised or broken into and personal belongings stolen.
Maybe the time has come for a permanent police presence, at least in the busiest health centres.
